Music has always been a mystery to me.... Please do not get me wrong, I love music of most genres and I do know how to appreciate most of them. It is the world of notations and scores that baffles me. It is amazing how people can describe the notes and melodies using words like, "technical","contrasting", "stylish" or even "atrocious" to describe the piece. Although familiar to me in writing and visual arts, to see and hear them being used to describe music is very strange to me.
I have been contemplating in taking up the violin. I am not too sure if it is an infatuation, but I am deeply in love with Vivaldi. Perhaps it might be costly, but I am willing to give it a try...
A case of lost childhood perhaps?
